2018 Conference


Following another very successful Conference at The Star Gold Coast, the Conference Committee is pleased to announce that the 2018 Conference will be held at the same venue, commencing with lunch on Sunday 19 August and running through to lunch on Wednesday.

Your Ideas 

As the Committee commences planning the program for next year, it invites suggestions from industry for health and safety topics and presenters for Keynote Presentations or for any other aspect of the program.

Nominations for Mining Legends Awards

At the beginning of this year’s Conference, the Committee was proud to announce the introduction of the Mining Legends Awards.

 The Inaugural Awards were presented to  John Brady and Ron McKenna.

Nominations are now open for the 2018 Awards that will be presented at next year’s Conference.  Please provide to the Conference Organiser, the name of your nominee; an overview of what they have achieved during their career in the health and safety sector of the Queensland Mining Industry and why they deserve to be recognised as a mining legend.
